He is a strategic advisor on all social media activities across the company, from blogger relations to marketing support, customer service to internal communications and more, as social media is being integrated into many facets of Ford business.

Prior to joining Ford, Scott served as Consigliere for crayon and spent a number of years with PJA Advertising + Marketing, a boutique BtoB agency specializing in health sciences & high tech.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Scott is an active blogger and podcaster. He writes about the intersection of advertising, marketing and PR at The Social Media Marketing Blog and also writes The Baker Street Blog and cohosts I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere, two literary undertakings. Scott received his Master's in Medical Science from Boston University's School of Medicine concurrently with his MBA from BU's Graduate School of Management. He lives in the greater Detroit area with his wife and two young sons, golfs all too infrequently, and has a hidden talent for voice over work.
Oh, and one last little-known fact: Scott coined the Oxford Dictionary of English-accepted term "tweetup."

Great job Scott! Congratulations for making it into the WSJ
Marketing Over Coffee? We only allow Wall St. Journal Alum as guest hosts...
Congrats on making it into the WSJ! I look forward to seeing your name in their tech columns for many years to come...
Better late than never, I guess... Congrats on the WSJ piece! Great to meet you in Austin as well, Scott. I realized only after meeting you how often I've wound up using your blog as a reference, so I look forward to participating more in the future.
If you don't already, I'd recommend Jason Falls' SocialMediaExplorer.com as a quality addition to the blogroll. I find Len.Devanna.com very interesting as well (social media in the enterprise).
I was pleasantly surprised to see your name in the article on bloggers in the WSJ. My daughter is actually featured in the customized comic strip on that page. She is now back in Vancouver (lived in Boston for a while) and writes one of Vancouver's most popular blogs.

Thank you Chel, John G. & Nick.
@The M Show: that's on my list of must-hear podcasts, which is in the works. And I'm happy to pop in whenever a seat is available.
@Nick Absolutely! Jason's blog is one of my favorites and while I don't follow Len's closely, I'm certainly aware of it.
@Fran What a small world! I remember your visit to Cambridge. Kudos to your daughter for her appearance as well.
Congrats.
Please allow me bask in the glow of your growing fame.
Keep up the great work. I've been sending a bunch of your posts around lately to some clients and some colleagues.
Hey Agricola - thank you so much for the kind words. Glad to know that my material is finding its way into people's hands. Feel free to let me know if I can be of further service.
Scott - so proud of you. What a great accomplishment!! So darn impressive. Would love to see you again soon and talk a bit more about your BRILLIANCE! :-)
Aww, Christine. You're too kind. Getting into the WSJ wasn't as much brilliance as much as it was having the right relationships and paying attention at the right time. If you're referring to my selections, the most difficult part was narrowing it down, as there are so many great resources out there.
Here's another Achieve Market Leadership, www.achievemarketleadership.com real clients and hands on experience in new marketing, great posts on social media and mobile internet marketing too.
Congratulations on the wsj ink!
